No Active Trading – PMI Day
Today I’m staying out of the markets during the main sessions due to PMI releases, which often bring increased volatility and uncertainty.
📌 On PMI days, price can be erratic and setups tend to be less reliable, especially in the hours leading up to the news.
Patience is key.
What I’m Watching
- I’ll be monitoring the NY session after 16:00 CET, once the market has had time to absorb the PMI data.
- If we get clean post-news structure and a clear zone setup, I might consider a late entry.
- Otherwise, today will be a no-trade day, and that’s perfectly fine – discipline over FOMO.
Reminder for Traders
- Not trading is a decision too – sometimes the best trade is no trade
- On high-impact news days, protecting your capital is more important than forcing a setup
- Use the time to journal, review past trades, or sharpen your edge
